"Sophia has created the Bassett Breasties group for local mums to attend for breastfeeding support, and also volunteers on the maternity ward helping new mums just as their babies have been born. She’s worked tirelessly in recent years to train up to be able to provide this much needed support after her own struggles breastfeeding her daughter.
Not only that, but she also set up Little Lion Markets to provide a local outlet for parents to buy and sell their children’s pre-loved items. She is wonderfully entrepreneurial alongside all of the usual superwoman mummying she does!"

"Sophia has set up Bassett Breasties, a free breastfeeding support group for new mothers - as well as offering her time volunteering in hospitals to help brand new mothers with their breastfeeding right at the start, when it's vitally important.
These are both invaluable, especially with NHS midwives being so overstretched and understaffed that they cannot offer the support for breastfeeding that they used to be able to/would like to.
She has also set up Little Lion Markets, pre-loved indoor markets focussing on childrens'items. Here, she's also thought to set up a "take what you need" table to help families who are struggling financially.

"Sophia runs “Bassett Breasties”, which is a free drop in support for anyone who needs it. She works endlessly to deliver the right support to women, men, grandparents, anyone who needs it.
Alongside this, Sophia runs “little lion markets” which is a space for second hand items to be sold. However, at this sale Sophia has a table made up entirely of free items for families in need often ranging from nappies to clothes to toiletries.
All of this whilst Sophia is a full time mummy to her little girl."
